I was tagged by the ever-so-lovely @patisseries !! Thank you xx

Here are the questions:

1.Your favourite luxury fashion labels
I know so little about fashion it's embarrassing. I mostly buy things in thrift stores. I have a few Ann Taylor pieces that I like? I don't know if that's considered "luxury" but it's nothing I would buy full-price anyway. :)

2.Oxford or peter pan collar?
Peter pan collar, though I love both.

3. Favourite smell?
Brewing coffee.

4. White or Black, clothing wise?
Black.

5. A habit of yours
Picking the scenic route home.

6. What is your current life goal?
To become a wise and kind lady.

7. Cake or cupcakes?
Both! But I have a preference for cupcakes.

8.Name 3 favourite things in your room
My folding screen, a painting my friend made for me, and... my laptop?

9.Hot or cold weather?
My favourite temperature is about 17°C... But if I had to pick between hot and cold... I don't know.

10. Describe how your hair looks
It hovers between my chin and my shoulders. I have a fringe on the left side. My hair is dark brown, with bits of copper in the light and tiny tiny bits of white already.

11. Write something you want to say to someone
"Your graphics/fan fictions make me wish I was a fan of [whatever fandom] and it makes me insanely jealous" - I wish I could say that to quite a few people, honestly. I don't know, in real life I don't like leaving things unsaid.

the crownless again shall be king
"All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king."

I was tagged twice!

First by @katticusmac ! Thank you darling xx

- Make a set using at least one item from this set and have the set show some aspect of you
- Name the set to do with that aspect
- Tag 4 more people and me
- Answer questions

This set is basically some kind of self-portrait? Like a metaphorical self-portrait? I don't know.

01) Best book you've ever read
Maybe "Siddhartha" by Herman Hesse.

02) Film that changed you
This might be a bit cliché, but "(500) Days of Summer". I saw it at this age where I was so used to "perfect" happy endings, and this movie made me redefine the entire concept of a "happy ending". Also, well, the music.

03) Yummiest beverage
I've never tasted a beverage I didn't like (except for tomato juice). I don't know! Maybe a mixed drink made from cream soda.

04) Favorite animal
All birds.

05) Day or night
Day.

06) Weather
My favourite weather? I suppose something like 17°C with a few clouds and a breeze.

07) Favorite food
Lately I can't get enough of anything Asian that includes noodles. Viet soup, pad thai, etc.

08) Favorite character (book or film)
Remus Lupin? (the Harry Potter series...)

09) Something you love.
When people act silly.

10) A message you'd like to share.
You yourself are enough.

I was also tagged by the lovely @saeglopurr ! Thank you xx

1.Describe your dream house.
Very small, with lots of natural light. When I open the windows I hear the birds sing. That's really all I need.

2. if your life could be summed up in one song, what would it be?
So far, I think it's definitely "Are You Satisfied?" by Marina & the Diamonds. I was 17 when I first heard it and it struck a chord within me. I'll be 21 soon and it still does, but for different reasons... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oS2vMUIPeT4

3. Describe what a perfect day, according to you, would look like.
Waking up slowly with the sunlight. Out for breakfast with someone. Walking around. Eating a picnic in the park. Going to a museum and discussing things, taking our time. Having tea and pastry somewhere we've never been before. Going to the market to buy supplies for supper, going to the liquor store for drinks. Cooking together. Eating supper quite late. Lighting candles.

4. List three things that can make you happy.
Laughing with someone, baking cookies, free-dancing on my own.

5. What is your favourite piece of clothing?
Nice knee-length sundresses with a nice fabric and thick straps are my favourites.

6. What are your favourite Tv Shows?
These days I love Elementary most of all. Though shows I've loved most over the years (and still do) are Downton Abbey, That 70s Show, Sherlock, The Hour...

7. If you could change your life with someone, who would you choose?
I don't know about changing someone else's life. I don't think I'd be comfortable doing that, because then I'd be improving their life by my definition, which they might not actually consider to be an improvement. As for my life, I wouldn't change it.

8. What is your dream destination for a perfect summer?
Home, home, home. (The Canadian East Coast.)

9. your favourite book?
I always say the same thing so this time I'll go with "There is a Bird on Your Head!" by Mo Willems. Genius, and super funny.

10.If you could play in a movie, which movie would you choose, and what character would you incarnate?
Oh, I don't know. I'm a terrible actress. My comedic timing sucks. I'd love to work in casting though!

11. What do your friends usually say about your personality?
That I'm giggly, sweet, reliable, smart, and deadly to argue against. A bit too fond of all deemed "cute".

I'm not tagging anyone. I don't have a good excuse. Oops.

we can help each other

we can help each other
I love 5-year-olds, but I'd rather not take life advice from them sometimes. (see original quote)

You can't go through life without losing a few crayons. And some people even start out with only half a box! But the key is to keep drawing, and to draw beautiful things anyway. You can borrow crayons from your friends if you need them. You can look for stray crayons. Maybe you'll even find the ones you lost! But sometimes lost crayons are lost forever, and that's okay too.

(This set was inspired by occupational therapy, which is essentially the art & science of helping people make the most of their box of crayons.)

I was tagged by @smileylina !! Thank you darling xx

Here are the questions:

1. Top 5 books?
Oh! This is hard...
Cyrano de Bergerac (Edmond Rostand)
Letters from my Windmill (Alphonse Daudet)
A Bag of Marbles (Joseph Joffo)
Oh, the Places You'll Go! (Dr. Seuss)
the Harry Potter series (I think Deathly Hallows is my favourite) (J.K. Rowling)

2. Puppy sized elephant or Elephant sized puppy?
Puppy sized elephant!!! It would be so cute!! And the alternative would be rather deadly.

3. Earliest childhood memory?
I don't remember much from before I was four, but here's one I know is a "real" memory (not made up from scraps and pictures):
I went to a "private" pre-school that was kind of like a daycare. The "teacher" drove her car to get the students in the morning. Each morning, she asked us what we had dreamed of the night before. It irked me that I never had anything interesting to say because I rarely remembered my dreams. So one morning, I decided I'd make something up. I invented a crazy scenario that involved the 101 dalmatians and the lion king and my entire family. It took nearly the entire drive to tell! I felt a bit bad for lying but I thought of it as me using my artistic license. :)

4. Thoughts on Kindle vs. Book?
I've never used a kindle. I love holding books in my hands though. On one hand I think kindles are good for tree-saving and such. But on the other I love physical copies of books.

5. Do you got any pets?
No...

6. What items are you gonna save if you're house is on fire?
This is boring, but my laptop. Definitely.

7. Have you hurt someone that they cried?
Unfortunately... I think it's inevitable. But I regret it tremendously.

8. Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate?
All of the above!!!

9. A word that you want to erase in the world.
I suppose "sl*t" (polyvore won't let me write the word!). I think we have enough words for that already.

10. Tell me a joke
*hides behind her hands, giggles* I'm so bad at thinking of jokes!

11. Job you want to have? Why?
I want to be an occupational therapist (OT)! (Hence the set; this question actually inspired me to be inspired by OT... does that make sense?)
Why? Only because it's the greatest job on the planet! ;) Well, actually because... do you ever think of characteristics your dream job would have, and rack your brains to think of a way that these characteristics would fit together, and can't think of anything? It was like that for me. I wanted to have a creative job, and I'm fascinated by humans, and I loved tutoring but I didn't want to be a teacher. And then I heard about OT and I was like, "Man! My dream job *exists*!" Now I'm studying it and I love it to bits.
Goodness, darling I'm sorry for the long answer... I hope I didn't bore you to sleep.
I could talk about OT for hours so if anybody is curious please do ask questions! :)

I broke the rules so I'm not tagging anyone. But as usual feel free to answer the questions, strike up a conversation, or anything really.

Goodness gracious I'm finally done with my semester - it was great but exhausting. This freedom is unsettling. And I'm unironically-ironically quoting this song to my sister in email and text messages: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=diYAc7gB-0A
